Actress Lisa Chappell plots with Santa Claus during rehearsals for tonight's Christmas in the Park. Chappell, best-known for her role as Claire in the Australian TV drama McLeod's Daughters, is one of the stars of the 11th annual event, which is sponsored by Coca-Cola.

Others on the playlist include Yulia, Goldenhorse, Jay Laga'aia, Tina Cross, Frankie Stevens and NZ Idol's Michael Murphy, Dave Houma and Jessie Cassin.

Start time is 7.45 tonight in the Auckland Domain, and organisers hope the crowd will beat last year's estimated 100,000 people. Proceeds from a collection at the concert will go to Youthline.
