If you are planning to attend the Anzac dawn service at the Auckland Museum, you might wish to reconsider. In previous years the atmosphere and solemnity of this service has been entirely ruined by the blazing lights from the media centre.

We would like to thank all of the amazing doctors and nurses in NICU/PICU/maternity ward/ward 23b for the wonderful care you provided to our wee daughter Tora. Your heartfelt warmth was overwhelming and really helped us through the challenging times. You are all angels and we will always be grateful.

There are too many drivers who don't dip their lights when approaching oncoming traffic or following other traffic. This is a part of the Road Code and they should know it. The worst offenders are SUV drivers whose headlights are high enough when following other cars to reflect in the rear-view mirror.

How good is the atmosphere at a Warriors home match at Mt Smart? This is why I can't understand why the council wants to move the home games away from there. The atmosphere is far better than any local union games, especially the Blues'. The Warriors admit they feel more at home at Mt Smart than at Eden Park. Eden Park is too big and the stadium feels empty. Moving away from Mt Smart would significantly decrease the number of fans attending games.

People who press the crossing button when - if they had waited a few seconds and judged the traffic - they could have crossed without inconveniencing the only two cars on the road.

On a recent visit to Wellington, a group of us negotiated a day trip to the Martinborough wine region. Our driver, Robin, gave us a wonderful day and we much enjoyed seeing that region of your beautiful country. On our return to our ship, we found that we had left a camera in the vehicle. With little hope, we reported the loss to the onboard public relations desk, only to find that our driver had handed the camera in. We do not have his address and can only hope that he will read this and know how much we appreciate his action. Thank you, Robin, for making our day so perfect.
