Rant Everywhere I look these days I see groups of those ragged queen palms, their leaves split by the wind and ugly, dead fronds hanging beneath. Please, please, no more queenpalms! Jo
Rave Some work on our street in Orakei involves cutting concrete. As I took my newborn baby for a walk one of the workers noticed me and the buggy coming and had the concrete cutter stop until I had gone past. Many thanks for the courtesy - much appreciated! Keryn
Rant Most times, when using a men's public toilet, I find urine on the seat and puddles of it on the floor. I dread to imagine the state (and smell) of the toilets in the offenders' homes. Peter
Rave What a great series TVNZ's This Town was. At the end of each episode you felt better than you did at the beginning. Heart-warming. Another series, please. R Hall, Takapuna
Rant I'm a cyclist and I understand your frustration if you are driving behind me. I do my best to keep to the side when there is no bike lane, so beeping your horn erratically while zooming past me is not needed, thanks. Jimmy
Rave I work in the Auckland CBD. Can I just say a big thank you to all the road cleaners who pick up rubbish and clean our sidewalks. I think we need to appreciate the ones who clean our city. Craig
