Took my 12-year-old and four mates to Rainbow's End for his birthday. A friendly welcome at the entrance, great rides and service, affordable food and drinks and everything spotlessly clean. I know it's not Disneyland but we were very happy!

As a final comment on this very annoying situation, please
be aware that the narrow parking spaces are the responsibility of our beloved Auckland Council, NOT the [Pakuranga] plaza management who are at their wits' end with it all. As local residents, we need to lobby the council ourselves and make them more than aware of our discontent. If only we could send them the bills for our dents and scratches, they might then take more notice.

Thank you to the Maori woman bus driver of the 258 or 267 on Dominion Rd on Wednesday, around 11.30am, who waited for me as I tried to run with the aid of my walking stick. You were graciously courteous. Thank you for waiting.

The Panmure Basin is a beautiful route to walk or jog, but the litter is disgusting. Beer boxes and cans. Also, the public toilets there make me cringe. Bleh!
