To the bus driver who on Thursday at 16.10pm on Sunnybrae pedestrian crossing opposite the school went through the crossing well after the pedestrian light had turned green. Lucky for us we anticipated what was happening.

To the good Samaritan who came to the rescue of our collapsed son in the Prospect Tce, Dominion Rd area on Thursday, our very sincere thank you. He is now making a good recovery.

Just dropped a family member at Auckland Airport and helped check them in. Inserted ticket just over an hour later - $15. We know it is cheaper if booked in advance, but why the huge hike without prior booking. The car park is never full. Ripping off Kiwis saying farewell to loved ones. Really, Auckland Airport.

I have recently taken to cycling to work on the Northwestern Cycleway. Had a few hiccups and the many gestures of help include a British man today offering to give me his spare cycle tube.

Why are so many drivers staying in the right hand lane of motorways doing exactly 100km/h? These drivers are obstructing other cars trying to pass. The road code states drive in the left hand lane except when passing in multi-lane situations. I hope these drivers read this and are more co-operative.

A huge rave to NZ Post at Porana Rd. My son lost his phone on the way to school on Tuesday. However, Leigh phoned to advise me her trainee postie had found the phone ... and would drop it off to me on their way home.
