Why is it that the plastic containers sold by garden centres are not recyclable? Unbelievable that all garden centres are sending them to landfill by the truckful and that we as consumers have no choice but to do the same.

The Auckland Botanic Gardens in Manurewa are fantastic. We love the walk through all the different gardens and themed areas and our dog loves to sniff, bark and run in the off-leash area. A great job by all staff.

Fireworks the whole year round. Scares the hell out of animals, and most people I know are heartily fed up with them. We have them all hours of the night and day. It's just gross inconsideration of other people's rights. Should be limited to public displays. Guess the Government must collect too much GST revenue to expect them to do anything about it.

The bag drop-off at Auckland International Airport is chaos, especially when a large flight from overseas has arrived and everyone is forwarding their luggage to airports throughout NZ. For many tourists this is their first impression of NZ and it doesn't look good. Some decent queue organisation and signage is needed.
