Queenstown crash victim named

The woman who died in a two-car crash in Queenstown on Friday was Jennifer Claire Scott, 76.

Mrs Scott, from Cromwell, was killed when her car and another collided head on. The 18-year-old driver of the other vehicle was injured and remains in Southland Hospital where he is in a stable condition.

Police expected him to be discharged in the next few days.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing and police have asked for anyone who witnessed it to contact them.
