Queenstown bouncer Jonathan Dixon was remanded on bail on two separate charges yesterday at the Invercargill District Court.
Appearing in front of Judge John MacDonald for a pre-trial callover, Dixon entered no plea to charges of assault causing grievous bodily harm and accessing a computer system dishonestly.
In late January,Dixon faced the assault charge after an altercation outside Queenstown night club Subculture that left Queenstowner Jordon Sinke in an induced coma.
The 41-year-old Queenstown bouncer was also charged with assaulting Thomas Beatson on the same night.
Last month Judge Kevin Phillips declared a mistrial on the first day of his trial by jury over the alleged incident, but details were suppressed.
Dixon was remanded on bail and will appear in the Invercargill District Court on March 18 in relation to the assault charges.
He has been on bail since last year after allegedly dishonestly obtaining video surveillance footage of England rugby captain Mike Tindall and a woman in a bar in September, during the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
Dixon was remanded on bail to reappear in the Invercargill District Court on November 11 in relation to that charge.
