Quality Systems Specialist

Zespri's Market & Quality Assurance team work at the very heart of our business; with our product. This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality systems operated by Zespri and its Suppliers are maintained, and ultimately, improved.
Key accountabilities include assisting with the development and management of the Zespri Phytosanitary & Quality System including managing systems to capture information and data associated with pest ID's, phytosanitary performance and compliance program performance. This role will also be responsible for participating in internal and external audits associated with quality programmes, together with developing metrics to measure system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
To ensure the success of this role, excellent communication and people skills are crucial due to the important relationships with post harvest, cross business teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will preferably have a knowledge of MPI phytosanitary systems.
