Apata Group Ltd is a widely regarded and highly successful horticulture business, providing quality post-harvest services to kiwifruit and avocado growers.
We are now seeking highly capable and experienced Quality Controllers for our Katikati and Te Puke sites.
The successful candidates will have:
• Kiwifruit industry experience in a Quality Controller role and ZIL approved
• Excellent working knowledge of Radford Quality & Inventory Systems. An interest in using information technology to improve efficiencies is highly desirable
• Previous experience in a decision making role relating to fruit quality and implementing Zespri fruit quality grade standards
• Excellent relationship management skills to liaise effectively with a range of staff
• Ability to mentor and coach staff to ensure Apata Group's performance targets for fruit quality are met
The ability to build & maintain relationships with key people within the site and the company is important. This role will appeal to someone with a number of years experience in kiwifruit quality control who is looking for a refreshing change and an opportunity to contribute to developing new systems and process in this important area.
