The North Island's east coast has been rocked by another earthquake this evening.
GeoNet said the 31km-deep magnitude 4.0 quake struck 25km west of Tolaga Bay at 8.15pm.
Some 85 people reported feeling the quake.
It comes after a magnitude 4.5 quake shook Gisborne early this afternoon.
GeoNet said the
"moderate" 20km-deep quake struck 10km northwest of Gisborne at 12.02pm.
