Quake shakes Hawkes Bay

A quake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale has struck 10km south-west of Havelock North and was felt through-out the Hawkes Bay.

The quake had a focal depth of 60km and struck at 9.59pm.

The quake was felt as far west as Wanganui and had been reported by 248 people by 7.40am.
