One keen punter has laid out $15,000 on the All Blacks to take out the Lions series, and another has banked $20,000 after Team New Zealand won the Louis Vuitton Cup.
However, despite a few big bets, betting has been relatively tame over both events so far, TAB spokesmanMark Stafford said.
"There hasn't really been the big bets that we used to see," he said.
He suspected the time zone difference for the America's Cup has put a lot of people off given the races were so early in the morning.
"We haven't really seen big bets on the yachting just because of the time of the day. It's 5am, and people sleep and watch the replays. If it was good New Zealand time zones it would be different."
The biggest bet -$2000 - on the America's Cup so far is on Oracle to win the America's Cup. However, others have put down $1500 and $1000 on Team New Zealand to win it.

But one lucky punter who did have the faith took home $20,000 after putting $10,000 on Team New Zealand to take out the Louis Vuitton Cup. He expects more bets to be laid over the next couple of days.
The bigger bets have been on the Lions series, he said.
One person is set to win $23,250 if the All Blacks take out the series 3-0, and another bettor stands to win $8000 after putting down $6000. A third person put $4000 on the win in May, when it was paying $1.95, and stands to collect $7800.
Other highlights include - $6000 on All Blacks to win the first test by between 11 and 20. It's paying $3.25, with a possible return of $19,500.
There's $11,500 up for one person who put $5000 on the Hurricanes to beat the Lions, and another person has put $5000 on the Chiefs to beat the Lions. That's paying $2.60, meaning a return of $13,000.
Another bet of $3000 was put on the All Blacks to win the first by 13 and over. That's paying $2.
