A property which was a key focus of the investigation into the disappearance of Christchurch man Michael McGrath is up for sale.
The property, in Candys Rd, Halswell, was subject to a major search and forensic testing by police.
It is the home of prison officer David Benbow, a friend of McGrath's, who has been missing for 140 days.
On Thursday morning, the real estate sign had been smashed.
