Two adjoining North Shore beachfront properties have been put on the market. Combined, the estate agent said they would be one of the North Shore's largest true beachfront land holdings.

The two properties' combined 2008 valuation was $8.4 million, but the clincher for the cashed-up buyer will be that rarest of assets - riparian rights. Ownership of the beach, down to the high-water mark, is part of the deal.

The adjoining Campbells Bay homes - one facing the beach and the other the road - can be purchased separately or together.

The two homes are owned by Romily Holdings and Romily Nominees.

The agent selling the property, Jim Mays of Precision Real Estate, said the property had been in the same family for many years.
