Fresh Food Exports is a well established commercial grower of soft fruits based in the Omaha Flats/Warkworth area.
An opportunity has arisen for a Production Supervisor to join our team.
We are seeking to appoint a candidate with previous experience in the horticulture industry, in particular experience in a pack-houseoperation.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Previous Horticulture/Packhouse Experience; • Knowledge of perishable production & logistics; • Knowledge and experience of Food Safety and Quality Control systems; • Knowledge of NZ Gap, WQA and compliancy; • Growsafe Certification; • Tractor experience on over 100hp tractors; • Clean drivers licence/forklift licence; • Strong communication/management skills.
This role is a challenging role that would suit a team player that is passionate and has confidence and great communication skills. At the peak of our season this role will require someone who is prepared to work additional hours and days for our busy period. At other times this role will be assisting our Farm Manager.
