Apata Group Limited is a long established and highly regarded post-harvest facility, specialising in the packing and cool storage of both kiwifruit and avocados. We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to take charge of the day to day packhouse operations based at our Te Puke site. It
is a fast-paced and constantly changing operation, in a demanding at times high pressured environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Post Harvest knowledge and experience within the kiwifruit industry
• Production Knowledge
• Ability to lead and guide Line managers and Line staff.
• Ability to ensure throughput and budget targets are met
• Experience in staffing to ensure the production line is adequately resourced
• Ability to train key staff required for production
• Knowledge of Health, Safety - adhering to and maintain existing systems, implementing systems, engaging with staff, reducing risk and continuous improvement
