The Playground Centre wish to appoint a Procurement Manager to a newly created role. In this role, you will be expected to bring your experience in purchasing to work alongside the operations team and lead the procurement within the company. You will be involved with; sourcing raw materials,
components, imported gear and pricing for potential projects. Cost minimization, continuous improvement and supplier evaluations will keep you busy. One of the KPIs will be to increase the company GP.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and or experience;
• Experience in negotiating
• Greater than 3years experience in a purchasing role
• ERP/ MRP knowledge with Abel or similar software
• QS experience from a construction background would be an advantage
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing
• Good communication skills
