North Shore police are searching for several masked-men who committed a "vicious and violent" aggravated robbery in Glenfield early this morning.
Police said several men - one armed with a shotgun - forced their way into a Kaipatiki Road house about 2.30am, and demanded cash.
The three occupants -including a heavily pregnant woman - were robbed of cash, a cell phone, electronic and personal items before the offenders left in a vehicle earlier reported stolen from Orakei, in Auckland.
No shots were fired and no one was injured in the ordeal.
Police arrived on the scene and soon after found the stolen vehicle.
A 37-year-old man was arrested after being tracked by Police Dog Unit, and is to appear in the North Shore District Court today charged with aggravated robbery.
Police are searching for the other men involved in the robbery.
Police said the incident has similarities to an aggravated robbery in Pinehill in October.
Anyone with information on the robbery are urged to call North Shore CIB on 09 477 5000 or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
