PRACTICE MANAGER
An enthusiastic Practice Manager is required for our busy medical practice consisting of sixteen Specialist Anaesthetists, operating out of the Oropi Centre adjacent to Grace Hospital. This is a critical leadership role within the medical practice and will suit a highly motivated and well organized person with leadership and management experience.
Medical knowledge and/or a nursing background would be highly advantageous for this role. The position is supported by an experienced and capable administrative assistant.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Relevant experience as a Team Leader or Manager and works well in a team environment
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and our clients
• Tact, diplomacy and empathy
• The ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and be flexible with high attention to detail
• An understanding of the financial aspects of small business management, including payroll
• Familiarity with health and safety, and patient privacy legislative requirements
• Proficiency with MYOB and/or XERO would be an advantage
• Excel and Word experience would be an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
