Post-mortem for Tokoroa house fire victim

A post-mortem examination will be undertaken today on the body of a man who died in a house fire in Tokoroa.

The fire broke out on Tuesday night on Dalmeny Street.

The body was removed from the house yesterday and the post-mortem will take place in Auckland today.

A second man has been transferred to Middlemore Hospital in a critical condition.

Police and fire investigators do not yet know if the fire will be treated as suspicious.
