Save A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash north of Dunedin last night.
Police are warning motorists to take care on icy southern roads after a person was killed in a crash north of Dunedin overnight.
Police said the single-car crash happened just before midnight on SH1 at Waikouaiti.
The driver was the only person in the car.
The Serious Crash Unit
is at the scene and diversions are in place at SH 1 and Victoria St and SH 1 and Gill St.
Police said motorists needed to drive to the winter conditions as roads across the region were icy this morning.
