Police are keen to talk to a French student, who was badly hurt in an attack in central Wellington.
The 24-year-old is critically ill in Wellington Hospital with head injuries, after a beating early yesterday morning.
Officers say he'd been with friends in Courtenay Place, but was separated from them
at around midnight.
They're keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened in the early hours of Saturday.
