Police seek information on armed robbery at Kapiti Coast pub

Police are seeking information from the public on an armed robbery at Kapiti Coast's Jolly Pub.

An armed offender entered the pub, in Mazengarb Road in Paraparaumu, at 4:30pm last Thursday.

Police say one person has been arrested in relation to the incident, but they are still seeking the public's help in the investigation.

A statement said the offender had been seen around the time of the robbery in a silver Audi near the road the pub was on and The Avenue, Paraparaumu.

CCTV images show a man, armed with a long gun, dressed in a green hoodie and matching green pants at the pub counter.

Police are asking any members of the public who can help identify the silver Audi or its occupants to contact the Kapiti-Mana police on (04) 238 1457.
