Police investigating the murder of Marton pensioner Mona Morriss have released pictures of a "distinctive" purse she was carrying in the days before her death.
Mrs Morriss was found dead in her pensioner flat on the morning of January 5. She died of multiple stab wounds after a brutal attack.
The off-white purse had two contrasting burgundy stripes through the middle and a bobble-type brass clasp. It had a stiffer side which opened out for notes and cards.
