Police reopen SH25 after fatal truck crash

Police have reopened one lane on SH25 east of Coromandel town after a driver died this morning when his fully laden concrete truck crashed.

Police northern communications spokesman Ian Brooker said police have reopened a lane on the stretch of highway near Kuaotunu where the accident took place just before 10am.

No other vehicles were involved.

Mr Brooker said management from the transport company the man worked for were also at the scene.
