Police release photos of men wanted for Manurewa taxi driver attack

Police have released photos of three men wanted over an attack on a taxi driver in Manurewa in April.

Taxi driver Vineet Mahajan, 48, was badly beaten in the attack after three young men got into the taxi which was parked in the Southmall carpark near New World supermarket around midnight on April 18.

He managed to escape and was taken by police to hospital.

Photos of the three men wanted in the case have been posted on the Counties Manukau Police Facebook page.
