Police probe security guard's death

A security guard found dead yesterday was a 22 year-old Indian man who lived in Auckland.

He was discovered shortly after 3am at a construction site in Henderson.

A North Comms ambulance spokesman said the man was found slumped over a concrete slab when paramedics arrived yesterday morning.

Police have yet to confirm whether he had any other injuries.

Detective Sergeant Eugene Pickett said a post-mortem is now being carried out.

"At this stage, his death is still unexplained."
