Police name woman killed when car flipped

Police have named the woman who died after her car crossed the centre-line and flipped upside down into a stream on the outskirts of Hamilton.

The woman was 57 year-old Beverley Price.

Inspector Leo Tooman said police were still trying to find out the cause of the crash, which happened yesterday afternoon on Puketaha Rd.

"Investigations will continue into establishing the cause today."

He said the death brings the number of fatalities on Waikato roads this year to 27 compared to 25 for the same period last year.
