Police name toddler run over in Kaikohe

Police have named the toddler killed in Kaikohe, after he was run over by a reversing car.

Lynkin James Cochrane, 19-months-old, died in hospital on Sunday after a family member backed over him on a driveway.

Police said today investigations into the incident were continuing.

Last month, an 18-month-old boy died after he was struck by a reversing vehicle driven by his father in the driveway of their Kaikohe house.
