Police name motorcycle crash victim

Police have identified the woman who died in a motorcycle crash on the West Coast on Sunday.

She was 63-year-old Maria Antoinette Grafhorst, known as Marian, from Christchurch.

The crash occurred on Arnold Rd in Moana, a small town on the West Coast of the South Island near Lake Brunner, on Sunday afternoon.

A crash investigation is ongoing and the death has been referred to the coroner, West Coast Police said.
