A man who died in a workplace incident near Oamaru yesterday has been named by police.
He was Robert George Wallace, aged 58, of Hampden.
Yesterday, emergency services were called to a workplace on Weston Rd, west of Oamaru, about 4.30pm.
Mr Wallace was pronounced dead at the scene.

New Zealand was at the scene and was conducting an investigation into the cause of the death, police said.
