The victim left the Selwyn Sounds concert at 6.30pm and was sexually assaulted in the vicinity of North Belt and West Belt before 7.10pm, said Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Anderson.
During the attack she lost a fine gold chain bracelet with a heart-shaped gold locket. The locket has a small diamond on one side and a keyhole on the other.
"A middle-aged woman helped the victim on the corner of North Belt and James St outside the Lincoln Primary School, opposite the church. This lady stayed with the victim until she was collected by a family member," Anderson said.
Police would also like to speak to a man in a cowboy hat who was with a woman described as having pink and blonde hair, on the sports fields outside the concert.
In earlier appeals, police asked to speak to a man and woman seen having an argument while walking along the street from the direction of the Famous Grouse, in the Liffy Pl/North Belt area about 9pm.
