Police are investigating links between armed robberies of offices belonging to an Auckland financial company.
An Ying in Glenfield was hit last Friday by a man with a gun who smashed a glass security door of the offices on Link Drive and confronted two staff.
He was handed around $60,000
and fled to a stolen black Holden Commodore driven by an accomplice.
The hold-up follows a raid last month on An Ying International Financial in central Auckland. A man with a knife and a woman brandishing a pistol netted $100,000 in local and foreign currency.
The company's east Auckland office was raided this year and a branch in Northcote was also robbed.
They are among several separate An Ying-registered companies with a common shareholder, An Ying Group.
Detective Darren Attwood of the Takapuna CIB said the investigation would look at why the company had been targeted and any connection between the robberies.
