An elderly motorist who had not been seen since leaving his Lower Hutt home on Saturday morning to drive to a family gathering in Waitara has been found safe and well.
Family had raised the alarm when 82-year-old Kelvyn Herbert did not arrive in Waitara on Saturday evening.
