Police launch inquiry after man arrives at Auckland City Hospital with gunshot wound

A man arrived at Auckland City Hospital with a gunshot wound early this morning, prompting a police inquiry.
A police spokesman said the man arrived about 3.30am.
"He was admitted in a serious condition," the spokesman said.
In a separate incident earlier, another man also presented himself to the hospital
with serious injuries just after midnight.
Police said inquiries are continuing into the circumstances of what happened.
