A man has died after suffering critical injuries “consistent with stab wounds”, police say.
The incident occurred at a property in the South Auckland suburb of Manurewa overnight.

Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found at a property in South Auckland overnight with critical injuries “consistent with stab wounds”, police say.
Despite receiving medical attention, the victim died at the scene, Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Hayward said.
Emergencyservices were called to Manurewa just after midnight to “a report that a person had been injured at a property on Marr Rd”, Hayward said.
“Police and ambulance attended and located a man with critical injuries consistent with stab wounds who, despite medical attention, died at the scene.”
