Police investigating ‘unexplained’ sudden death in Papatoetoe, Auckland

Police are investigating an unexplained sudden death in the Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe this evening.

A police spokesperson said emergency services were called to Matawaka Lane about 6.30pm.

“At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained.

“A scene examination is due to be carried out as part of ongoing inquiries.”
