Police investigating death at Wiri Prison

Police are attending an unexplained death at Auckland South Corrections Facility in Wiri.

A police spokesman said there had been a death at the prison and they were making inquiries.

The Auckland prison houses high security male inmates and is operated by private firm Serco.
