Police identify woman's body found on Napier beach

Hawke's Bay Police have identified the woman who was found dead on a beach in Napier yesterday afternoon.

Police have not released her name but say she was 38 years old and from Napier.

Detective Sergeant Darren Pritchard said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Her car was found on Napier's beach front Marine Parade and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.
