Police hunt man after North Shore assault

Police are looking for a man they say assaulted a woman then fled on foot last night.

Karl Brown, 29, is alleged to have run away from police after assaulting a woman in Albany.

The woman, who was known to Brown, was taken to hospital with facial injuries.

She has since been discharged, however Brown is yet to be found.

Police said they want to speak to Brown about this incident and other family violence and driving matters.
