Police are looking for a man following two unprovoked attacks on strangers near a West Auckland shopping centre.
A police spokesperson said the first assault occurred on Veronica St near the LynnMall shopping centre in New Lynn about 11.45am on Tuesday, December 10. Thesecond assault was soon after on nearby Great North Rd.
“Both assaults are described as unprovoked on complete strangers. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured,” police said.
“Police investigating the matter would like to speak with this man as he may be able to assist with our inquiries.”
Images released of the man show him wearing a black or navy jumper, long cargo pants and sneakers.
