Kevin Belling, 62, was last seen at his Motu Rimu farm on January 9. Photo / NZ PoliceKean said police were conducting inquiries into Belling’s background, including potential sightings.
“Some information has also been obtained from the public in respect of potential sightings, but again, none of these turned out to be Kevin.”
Police search and rescue teams, LandSar, and drones have all been used in the search.
“A major focus has been the search of his farm property,” Kean said.
“This will continue to be an area of interest for the search team, with the possibility of further searches being carried out.”
Earlier, Kean urged members of the public to remain vigilant and to check rural properties for any sign of Belling.
“Police would still like to hear from anyone who may have information about the disappearance of Kevin.”
