Police have concerns for missing 11-year-old

Police are anxious to find an 11-year-old Auckland boy who has not been seen since after school today.

Rangatira Rita was last seen at the Middlemore Train Station in Otahuhu, South Auckland, this afternoon.

He was wearing a Royal Oak Intermediate royal blue jacket, black shorts, black socks and shoes and a Miami Heat backpack.

He is 160cm tall, medium build and is of Cook Islands descent.

Police have concerns for Rangatira, who is thought to have been in a distressed state earlier today.
