Police find missing Greymouth teenager

Police have found a Greymouth teenager who was missing missing for five days.

Earlier they appealed to the public to find Lily Gordon, 15, reported missing from Greymouth on Tuesday.

The teen's family had not heard from her since then and are concerned for her wellbeing.

This morning police said they would like to locate and speak to Lily to ensure she is safe.

This afternoon they said she had been found safe and well in Greymouth.

"Police would like to thank members of the public and media for their assistance," they said in a statement.
