Police fear for the safety of a 25-year-old Invercargill man last seen on Friday night.

Senior Sergeant Maggie Windle said Raymond Eruera was last seen outside the Saints and Sinners nightclub at 8.30pm with an unknown male, aged 15 or 16.

"Raymond has a lack of social skills to keep himself safe without adult help and this is behaviour that is very unusual for Raymond," Mr Windle said.

Mr Eruera is Maori, 150cm, of medium build, and was wearing a grey hooded jacket, a black beanie with an "Allied Security" logo and black pants.
