The police "Eagle" helicopter was deployed to hunt down a vehicle wanted in relation to a robbery in Auckland city this evening.
The wanted vehicle was spotted in Papakura about 7.45pm on Tuesday.
Eagle tracked the vehicle until it was able to be stopped by police units on the ground
in Maraetai.
No pursuit was initiated, police said.
Several people linked to the car in question are helping police with their inquiries tonight.
