Police call for public sightings

Wairarapa police are on the hunt for Michael William Abbott (pictured), who is wanted for breaching his release conditions.

Police have been seeking Abbott, who was last seen in Featherston, for the past few weeks.

He is described as medium build about 180cm tall and has a cross and two lightning bolts tattooed on his left wrist.

Police said Abbott was known to carry weapons and should not be approached.

Anyone who has seen Abbott was asked to contact Masterton police on 06 378 0378.
