An 18-year-old Wairarapa girl has been left distraught after her French bulldog, Tini, went missing from her home.
Crystal Cameron, from Pahaoa Station, said two-year-old, fawn-coloured Tini has a brain injury, after she was kicked in the head by a horse, and is desperate to get her back.
"If herbrain swells nobody knows what to do except me and the Carterton and Martinborough vets.
"Tini had spinal issues and pressure on her spine will cause her brain to swell and she would just stop eating, go blind and die."
Miss Cameron said Tini went missing from her home about a month ago and was last seen on the morning of September 29.
She said Tini is not microchipped but has a small scar on the inside of her left front leg, tends to run in circles anti-clockwise and is a one of a kind for the area.
"In Masterton you won't find another fawn girl that colour."
Miss Cameron has reported Tini missing to the police and believes someone has taken her.
