Save The second-ever Opaki School Garden Party plant sale on Sunday wasn't just a fundraiser, but an opportunity for the community to get together.
Crowds queued at the school for the sale to start and the estimated 4000 plants were almost sold out by lunchtime.
Organisers Erica Kinder and Pam Blackburn
were stoked with how the day went.
"It's just been a fabulous day," said Mrs Blackburn.
"We've had huge support from the school, and the parents and the kids."
